Some Hope Village residents enjoy walking or bicycling the short distance between Hope Village and downtown Canby, especially when the weather is nice. For the days when public transportation is needed, Hope Village is on the Canby Area Transit (CAT) bus line.

Canby Area Transit (CAT) provides bus service within Canby via its Blue and Green Lines and commuter bus service to Oregon City and Woodburn via its Orange Line. CAT and South Metro Area Transit (SMART) share the operation of bus service between Canby and Wilsonville via the Purple Line.
CAT customers can connect to the TriMet system at the Oregon City Transit Center (Orange Line) and to the South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART) or TriMet at SMART Central in Wilsonville (Purple Line). From Mid Valley Plaza in Woodburn customers can connect to the Woodburn Transit System (WTS) and Chemeketa Area Regional Transportation System (CARTS). From the Canby Transit Center (near Thriftway) customers can travel to Molalla via bus service provided by the South Clackamas Transportation District (SCTD).
