About Hope Village

Hope Village, Inc., was founded in 1983 by members of the Zion and Calvary Mennonite Churches for the purpose of developing a community in Canby, Oregon in which people age 62 and older can live with social, spiritual, recreational, educational, and health services available to them. At present, ten additional churches are members of the nonprofit corporation. Our mission is to demonstrate Christ's love by giving older persons the opportunity to live in a community with dignity and purpose by providing a continuum of living options and supportive services.

The Hope Village campus comprises 126 Garden Homes, 12 Cottage Homes, two 50-apartment affordable housing complexes, and a community center with a putting green, woodshop, sewing/quilting room, fitness center, electric train room, theater, and conference rooms.

Marquis Companies operates an 80-unit assisted living facility and a 50-bed post acute care facility on the Hope Village campus.
